The second cushion cover that I have been asked to make is to include a pineapple, so I decided that the best way to represent this was to pad the main part of the fruit using wadding, and stitching the geometric pattern using a manipulated straight stitch.

I then appliqued on the top of the pineapple using 2 different shades of green, which was then embroidered to give the shape of the leaves.
All that was left was the zipper and to sew up the sides!
that is really stunning. And I never thought I'd say that about a pineapple. ^_~
