Today I've spent the day with my mum as it was her birthday last Thursday, and while we were in town we stopped in the local fabric store which happens to be closing down and had a 50% off sale! There wasn't a whole lot left, but I managed to find these pieces.

On the way out of town we came across a stall that was selling cat-related things in aid of raising money for a local cat rescue centre. I couldn't resist this, and I had to buy it!
It's a total knock off Hello Kitty, but oh well.
I also managed to find a couple of vintage scarves.
And finally I wanted to share with you something that I'm particularly proud of. For my nieces birthday last February I designed a few cross stitch patterns for her as she loves doing them, and she surprised me with this today!
My sister actually stitched this one, my mum backed & framed it, I designed it and it hangs in my nieces room. I love having a 'crafty' family!
