I wore it out for the first time today for work and I love it! I love the wooden buttons! It's definitely one of those dresses that you could just twirl around in with a big grin on your face! (I know I'm not alone!)
I can see this being a regular summer dress pattern for a few years to come, maybe next in a floral print? Or some white eyelet cotton?
I was trying to be as serious as possible in these photos but Milo had other ideas by wanting to give me some high 5's
Hope your Easter was as enjoyable as mine!
Oooh and one last thing, I've been given another blog award by the cleverly creative Anni who blogs at Needles and Roses.
I am going to break the rules slightly on this one and instead of listing 5 blogs I love, I would love you to take a look at my blog roll on the side bar which features some great blogs about vintage fashion, sewing, inspirational photos & general craft!
So once again a big thanks for passing this along :)
Congrats on the award. Also, I love this dress! The polka dots are too cute and those wooden buttons are great. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was a little unsure about the wooden buttons at first but I think they make a big difference!
DeleteAck, this is such a lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun dress! I love the shape of the collar and your choice to use wooden buttons with that fabric. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteOnce again, such a gorgeous dress! And you're most welcome for the award!
